“Mulheres à Beira de um Ataque de Nervos” – o musical, chega ao Brasil pelas mãos do polivalente Miguel Falabella, mantendo todo o requinte do cinema de Almodóvar, do texto original de Jeffrey Lane e das letras e músicas de David Yazbek. Originalmente adaptado para o teatro na Broadway em 2010, a comédia musical está em cartaz no Teatro Procópio Ferreira, na capital paulista.
A história de três mulheres com problemas amorosos se cruza e revela toda a complexidade dos relacionamentos e da vida feminina: Pepa (Marisa Orth), uma atriz que guarda em segredo sua gravidez, é abandonada pelo amante Ivan (Juan Alba) e se vê perdida; Candela (Helga emeczyk), sua melhor amiga, se apaixona por um terrorista e decide pedir ajuda a sua confidente temendo parar na cadeia como cúmplice; e Lúcia (Totia Meireles), ex-mulher de Ivan, resolve se vingar do ex-marido nos tribunais depois de ter sido deixada por ele.
A trama ainda tem espaço para o casal Carlos (Daniel Torres) – filho de Ivan e Lúcia – e Marisa (Carla Vasquez), noivos às vésperas do casamento e à procura por um lugar para morar; a advogada Paulina (Erika Riba); e como uma espécie de narrador, que observa e interage com os personagens, está o taxista vivido por Ivan Parente – interpretado pelo próprio Almodóvar no cinema.

O resultado disso tudo é um dia conturbado de hilários encontros e desencontros retratados em 25 lugares diferentes de uma exuberante Madrid da década de 80. “Infelizmente eu não tinha entendido tão profundamente a trama quando era moleca, agora eu entendo, eu achava que era só um exercício de estilo, hoje vejo que é uma tragédia (risos)”, confessa Marisa.
Totia acredita que a sua personagem é a mais maluca de todas, “eu nunca sei se ela ficou tarja preta por causa da separação ou se ela era tarja preta e por isso ele se separou dela, uma mulher abandonada é capaz de absolutamente tudo!”.
Na direção do musical, Falabella exige seriedade dos atores, “porque as situações são engraçadas, mas são de verdade. Essas mulheres são facilmente reconhecíveis. Os anglo-saxões não conseguem entender a ‘latinidade’ que o Almodóvar retrata, mulheres que saem chorando de madrugada para ver se o marido está com a amante. Por isso esse espetáculo tem tudo para ser melhor entendido aqui no Brasil’.
A linguagem de Almodóvar sem dúvida é mais palatável ao público latino; histeria, obsessão e o drama dessas espanholas intensas e cheias de personalidade que chegam ao seu limite psicológico são características de fácil identificação à plateia brasileira. “Eu não vejo tanta diferença quando as brasileiras estão à beira de um ataque de nervos, talvez elas (espanholas) sejam um pouco mais exacerbadas, as brasileiras tem um certo pudor de se expor em público, mas acredito que na sua essência não seja tão diferente assim”, compara o ‘latin lover’ da trama, Juan Alba.
