Encenado pela primeira vez em 1998, o espetáculo Qualquer Gato Vira-Lata Tem Uma Vida Sexual Mais Sadia Que a Nossa não perde o frescor. Adaptado para versão cinematográfica em 2011 sob direção de Tomas Portella e com Cléo Pires, Malvino Salvador e Dudu Azevedo no elenco, a história voltou aos palcos cariocas em 2013 e agora faz estreia paulistana dia 14 de outubro, sexta-feira, 20h, no Teatro Gazeta. A versão da peça escrita por Juca de Oliveira e com direção geral de Bibi Ferreira tem montagem de Rafaela Amado e traz no elenco Monique Alfradique (Tati), Marcos Nauer (Conrado) e Emiliano D’Avila (Marcelo) no elenco.

Qualquer Gato Vira-Lata retrata a vida de três jovens que vivem as dificuldades de uma experiência amorosa. Depois de estudar o tema, o autor procura as respostas de suas dúvidas na psicologia evolucionista, baseando-se na teoria de Darwin. Decepcionada, após romper com seu quase namorado, Marcelo (Emiliano), Tati (Alfradique) se refugia no auditório da faculdade para chorar, sem se dar conta de que está no meio de uma palestra do professor de Biologia Conrado (Nauer) sobre o evolucionismo de Darwin.
Para o espanto da moça, o jovem cientista elucida o porquê das desventuras amorosas das pessoas e afirma que as leis da natureza estão sendo infringidas. Extasiada com a revelação, Tati convence o professor de que ela é sua tese e recorre a sua ajuda na reconquista de Marcelo. Relutante a princípio, Conrado aceita a proposta e passa a analisar os erros que ela comete e sugere soluções. A ideia desta comédia surgiu das observações do comportamento afetivo dos jovens, que hoje em dia vivem relacionamentos cheios de conflitos e desencontros. Segundo Juca de Oliveira, “as mulheres deixaram de ser a caça para se tornarem caçadoras” e este fato seria a causa principal das desilusões femininas. Com humor e originalidade, a peça funciona como um guia prático para um relacionamento perfeito indicado não só para os jovens, mas também para os adultos.
