Katy Perry lança single com videoclipe fofo e pop politizado
“Chained To The Rhythm” é a primeira música de trabalho do esperado álbum #KP4

Sim katycats, a diva está viva, muita bem viva e ligada em tudo o que está acontecendo! Após postar novidades nas redes sociais e ações pelo mundo nos últimos dias, Katy finalmente divulgou nesta madrugada o lead single do futuro álbum #KP4.
Com co-autoria da miga Sia, “Chained To The Rhythm” (em tradução livre ‘Acorrentados ao Ritmo’) tem feat. de Skip Marley (neto de Bob Marley) e produção de Max Martin (responsável pelos hits “I Kissed a Girl”, “California Gurls” e “Roar”).
Tudo começou quarta-feira (7), com Katy platinada atualizando seus perfis nas redes sociais com a foto abaixo, que também serviu para o GRAMMY Awards anunciar a performance da cantora na premiação no próximo domingo (12).
Em seguida, mais um tiro foi dado: uma prévia do novo single; ao som de uma pegada retrô os pés de Katy aparecem acorrentados a um globo espelhado de discoteca… e só. Porém, deixou uma certeza, de que #CHAINEDTOTHERHYTHM seria lançada em três dias, com direito a videoclipe – e obviamente seria a música apresentada no GRAMMY.
Não bastasse uma surra de novidades em menos de 48h, mais de 20 disco balls foram espalhadas pelo mundo – inclusive Rio de Janeiro – em clima de ‘caça ao tesouro’. Quem achava o globo podia plugar um fone e escutar um trecho da música.
Finalmente nesta madrugada conhecemos o single na íntegra, com um lyric video bem interessante, visualmente distante do mostrado na prévia.
POP POLITIZADO
Não se engane com a melodia gostosa e as miniaturas adoráveis, o fofo hamster, Sr. Parsons, é uma grande metáfora para mostrar o quão as pessoas estão condicionadas a aceitarem o que lhes dão sem perguntas, acomodadas e alienadas com o sistema em que vivem.

Devido aos últimos acontecimentos nos Estados Unidos, a música é uma forma de protesto ao governo atual. Em 2016, Katy fez campanha aberta à candidata democrata Hillary Clinton, adversária de Donald Trump.
Seja em canções ou discursos inflamados anti-Trump nas premiações, a classe artística sempre está de alguma forma alertando a sociedade a se envolver mais politicamente. Então, abra os olhos, ‘quebre as correntes’ e pense melhor ao ‘seguir o ritmo’.
