Gota DÁgua [a seco] reestreia dia 7 de abril no Teatro Porto Seguro
Com apenas dois atores em cena e outras canções em seu roteiro, adaptação de Rafael Gomes volta a São Paulo em curta temporada.

Em dezembro de 1975, Bibi Ferreira subia ao palco do Teatro Tereza Rachel (Rio de Janeiro) para estrear Gota D’Água, transposição da tragédia grega Medeia, de Eurípedes, para a realidade de um conjunto habitacional do subúrbio carioca. Com um arrojado texto em versos de Chico Buarque e Paulo Pontes e canções como Basta um Dia, o espetáculo marcou época e se tornou um clássico moderno do Teatro Brasileiro.

Mais de quatro décadas depois, a história voltou à cena com uma adaptação absolutamente inédita do diretor Rafael Gomes. Batizada de Gota D’Água [a seco], a nova versão estreou no Rio de Janeiro em maio de 2016 e está de volta a São Paulo para curta temporada no Teatro Porto Seguro, de 7 de abril a 7 de maio. No palco, Laila Garin e Alejandro Claveaux são acompanhados por cinco músicos sob a direção musical de Pedro Luís.
Como ‘a seco’ do título já indica, a montagem busca chegar à essência da história, através dos embates entre os protagonistas, Joana e Jasão, ainda que outros personagens do original também apareçam na adaptação. Mesmo com parte da trama sociopolítica reduzida na versão, Rafael Gomes reitera que a sua leitura da peça é focada em sua natureza política, cruelmente atual.

“A Gota D’Água original possui uma trama política bastante latente em seu embate entre opressores e oprimidos. Ao concentrar a história em Joana e Jasão, em suas ideologias, ações e sentimentos, eu gostaria ainda assim de falar sobre essa política mais essencial da vida, do dia a dia, essa que a maioria das pessoas sublima, esquece ou finge que não é com elas, achando que ser político é somente saber apontar o dedo para o adversário e se manifestar eventualmente por aquilo que interessa, de forma um tanto o quanto individualista”, afirma o diretor, que manteve toda a estrutura formal da peça e inseriu novas canções e pequenas citações de letras de Chico Buarque em algumas passagens do texto.
