Acesso Cultural: Como surgiu a ideia de ingressar na carreira artística? Como vocês começaram, criando canções em forma de “respostas” para outras?
Carol: Começamos a gravar juntas por perceber que o público preferia a gente como dupla. Os vídeos separadas não tinham tanta repercussão e engajamento quanto os vídeos juntas. Somos muito ecléticas então ouvimos de tudo, inclusive o Funk, mas começamos a perceber que algumas letras não nos representavam e objetificavam muito a imagem da mulher, então começamos a fazer versões com o ponto de vista feminino e galera curtiu muito.
AC: Qual a expectativa de vocês para o lançamento do primeiro single autoral, “Mais que um Verão”?
C: A música já foi lançada nas plataformas e teve uma repercussão bem boa! Estamos muito felizes que a galera esteja curtindo, e hoje, esperamos que o clipe também seja bem recebido pelos fãs.

AC: Como foi receber a notícia de que a música de vocês estaria na trilha sonora de “As Aventuras de Poliana”?
C: Ficamos muito animadas em ter uma música nossa na trilha sonora da novela, achamos que vai ter tudo a ver com o enredo da novela, o pessoal vai curtir.
AC: Na opinião do duo, qual a responsabilidade de figuras públicas como vocês, alertar temas tão importantes como o empoderamento feminino?
C: Somos mulheres, bonitas, fortes e independentes que cresceram ouvindo que devem ser a mudança que querem no mundo, então vamos continuar levando a mensagem do amor, do respeito e da igualdade sempre em nosso trabalho, para contribuir na construção do futuro que desejamos.
AC: O que os fãs podem esperar para os próximos passos de Carol e Vitória, na carreira?
C: Podem esperar para ver muito som autoral, vamos continuar com as tão amadas versões no canal, mas queremos muito que o pessoal também conheça Carol e Vitória pelo trabalho que elas próprias escreveram.
