O NUBLU JAZZ FESTIVAL, chega à sua oitava edição. Os shows nas unidades do Sesc Pompeia e São José do Campos começam a partir do dia 15 de março, com artistas de grande relevância para música mundial das últimas duas décadas.

Num recorte voltado para a Europa negra, destacam-se a aguardada cantora Neneh Cherry, o ícone do trip-hop Morcheeba e o saxofonista Shabaka Hutchings, líder do projeto Sons of Kemet. Enfatizando a raiz africana, Seun Kuti vem acompanhado da banda Egypt 80, idealizada pelo criador do afrobeat, Fela Kuti, seu pai.
A presença feminina nacional estará bem representada por Bebel Gilberto, convidada especial do Nublu Sessions. Completando o elenco, Geanine Marques, apresenta G T’aime, seu mais recente trabalho, que passeia pelo folk, indie e bossa new romance. Os DJs Flavya, Ju Salty e Master San tocam nas pick-ups na abertura e nos intervalos durante o festival.
O Nublu Jazz Festival vem reunindo artistas dos quatro cantos do planeta, reafirmando a identidade e essência múltipla e visionária do Nublu, originalmente um selo independente atrelado à casa nova-iorquina de mesmo nome. Fundado pelo músico e empreendedor sueco-turco Ilhan Ersahin, radicado no Lower East Side, o Nublu é um caldeirão cultural que acolhe artistas de diversos estilos, mestres da criação e da ousadia, celebrando a diversidade e a inovação.
