Na próxima semana, ela lança, em seu canal oficial no Youtube, o projeto “Garota Errada” pela produtora Young Republic Films com coprodução da F/Simas. São 5 capítulos em formato de websérie que contam de um jeito irônico um pouco da sua vida pessoal e profissional. O projeto é 100% autoral e a ideia nasceu de anotações auto reflexivas que ela fazia de sua vida.
“Eu sempre gostei muito de escrever, sobre tudo, sem julgamentos, que vão de coisas mais bobas até os textos mais pessoais. Um dia fui ver essas anotações e achei muitas histórias de percepções que as pessoas tinham sobre mim que fugia muito da realidade, e de como eu mesma via os meus próprios defeitos e problemas. Mas como sempre levei na brincadeira tudo foi escrito de uma forma leve e engraçada, e nisso achei que seria legal brincar com isso e mostrar pra pessoas que não tem problema você rir de si mesma às vezes.”
O elenco conta com participações de Larissa Manoela, Lucas Silveira (banda Fresno), Zé Luiz (radialista e pai da Manu), João Cortes, Diego Montez, Gabriel Milller (Carinho de Anjo). O nome da série é inspirado no primeiro single de sucesso como cantora – Garoto Errado – lançado em 2010.
Manu lançou recentemente o single Ninguém Vai Saber, em parceria com o cantor português Agir, e foi protagonista da série Z4, exibida no Disney Chanell e SBT, onde viveu a professora de dança, Pamela Toledo.
