Fontaines D.C divulga o single “Roy’s Tune”
Novo álbum Drogel chega em 12 de abril
Após o anúncio do tão aguardado álbum de estréia, Dogrel, a banda compartilhou um vídeo para o novo single “Roy’s Tune”.
O vídeo que o acompanha, dirigido por Liam Papadachi e apresentando o ator premiado da IFTA (Irish Film e Television Academy) Dafhyd Flynn, é um retrato quieto e poderoso de um dia na vida de uma jovem família, lutando para sobreviver e vivendo a mudança que ocorreu depois do nascimento de sua filhinha.
Falando sobre o single, o guitarrista Conor Curley contou: “É cantado e dedicado para a Irlanda – a partir de uma mentalidade de frustração, depressão e uma perda de inocência.
Eu costumava trabalhar na indústria de serviços, em um pequeno bairro em Dublin, e eu voltava para casa à noite porque eu não podia pagar o transporte público. Grian e eu não tínhamos dinheiro, então estávamos dividindo uma cama de casal no mesmo escritório. Uma noite, a caminho de casa, eu passeava pelo The George, que é a maior boate gay de Dublin, e um cara foi expulso pelos seguranças. Ele continuou gritando com eles, “Eu vou matar você a pedradas!”, E essa frase me marcou.

Dogrel será lançado em 12 de abril pela Partisan Records e está disponível para pré-venda no link. O álbum será lançado em vinil amarelo transparente (edição limitada), CD, e em todas as plataformas digitais.
