Maior festival de Magic: The Gathering da América Latina acontece em São Paulo
Até amanhã, Magic Fest, no Expo Center Norte, reúne campeonatos, artistas, pro players e lojas
O maior festival de Magic: The Gathering (MTG) da América Latina será realizado nesse fim de semana, em São Paulo, e é parada obrigatória para entusiastas e jogadores do mais tradicional trading card game do mundo. Até amanhã (14), das 9h às 22h, no Pavilhão Amarelo do Expo Center Norte, o público poderá encontrar celebridades do universo de MTG, participar de campeonatos, trocar cards, comprar produtos oficiais e acompanhar as disputas do evento principal de Magic: The Gathering, um torneio com premiação total de US$ 35 mil e que dá ao vencedor uma vaga no Mythic Championships, competição do circuito mundial do jogo. A entrada é gratuita.
“O Magic Fest é o maior evento de MTG da América Latina não apenas pela quantidade de jogadores, mas porque serve de ponto de encontro para fãs de todo o Brasil e de outros países da região. É um lugar para rever amigos, torcer por seus pro players favoritos e até mesmo conhecer artistas e influenciadores do universo de MTG”, disse Carolina Moraes, coordenadora de comunidade da Wizards of the Coast Brasil.
Estão confirmados no evento personalidades do mundo do MTG, como Willy Edel, membro do hall da fama do jogo, Carlos “Jaba” Romão e Lucas Berthoud, brasileiros da Magic Pro League, o ilustrador RK Post e os streamers André Manenti (canal UMotivo), Vinicius Archangelo (canal Cabrito Montês) e Priscila “Trevah” Meschiatti (canal na Twitch Playingalot).
Ao longo do evento serão realizados diversos campeonatos de MTG abertos ao público e com inscrição paga, que deve ser feita diretamente no local das partidas. Além disso, o evento principal de Magic: The Gathering deve receber cerca de 1.500 competidores inscritos previamente.
