Festival de Paella, Acarajé e Coxinha acontece neste final de semana
Memorial da América Latina promove Festival de Paella, Acarajé e Coxinha e Festival dos Doces e Brigadeiros, dias 04 e 05 de maio
Que tal aproveitar a folga do final de semana para se deliciar no Festival de Paella, Acarajé e Coxinha e garantir uma dose extra de motivação para o mês? É só aparecer no Memorial da América Latina nos dias 04 e 05 de maio, das 11h às 21h.
Além das comidas deliciosas, a entrada é gratuita e tem show ao vivo a partir das 13h. Para a família toda poder aproveitar, o local possui área kids (a partir de R$ 06,00), fraldário, um minishopping (com opções de roupas, calçados, acessórios, artesanatos, brinquedos e muito mais) e a entrada de pets é liberada. Sem contar que o Memorial fica ao lado da estação de metrô/trem Barra Funda, conta com pontos de ônibus nas proximidades, ciclofaixas e bicicletário no portão 09 e ainda estacionamento de carros nos portões 04 e 15.
Uma das estrelas do Festival o tradicional prato espanhol, a Paella. Criado pelos camponeses, a refeição recebeu o mesmo nome da panela redonda com alças usada para garantir o cozimento por igual dos alimentos. Embora a receita original não seja feita com frutos do mar, hoje a principal versão leva camarão, polvo, lula e mexilhão. No festival, a tradicional Paella à Marinera custa R$ 45,00, assim como a Paella Caipira do Tio Chico, feita com frango, linguiça calabresa fresca e defumada, lombo e bacon. Outras opções são porção de camarão ao alho e óleo e macarrão com camarão no parmesão (R$ 39,00).
Acarajé significa “comer bola de fogo” e apesar de ser tão conhecido na culinária baiana, teve origem no continente africano. Esse bolinho de feijão-fradinho com sal e cebola e frito no azeite de dendê, ganhou a versão baiana feito principalmente com bobó de camarão, mas no evento, carne seca, bacalhau e vegano também são opções. Por fim, o cliente precisa escolher entre o quente (apimentado) ou frio (sem pimenta). A versão montada custa a partir de R$ 15,00 e a no prato R$ 17,00, mas também é possível encontrar na barca ou em porções. Outros pratos baianos que também estarão disponíveis são abará, moqueca, bolinho de estudante, baião de dois, moqueca de peixe, entre outros.
Não é possível saber ao certo como surgiu a Coxinha, mas ninguém contesta que é um salgado tipicamente brasileiro. A receita já ganhou diversas versões, com mudanças na massa e no recheio, e no Festival você encontra algumas delas: além da tradicional de frango, são mais de 30 sabores, como calabresa, carne, bauru, queijo, três queijos, vegetariana, alho poró, carne seca, bacalhau, brócolis e berinjela e com valores a partir de R$ 08,00 a unidade. Coxinha na barca (08 unidades + 02 molhos a escolha + 01 refrigerante), coxinha no cone, espetinho de coxinha, burcoxinha (massa da coxinha com um hambúrguer no meio), coxicake de requeijão e bacon e buque de coxinhas (20 unid ades) também são opções. E para que todos possam aproveitar, existem as coxinhas veganas de jaca louca, shimeji e palmito com queijo vegano, por R$ 12,00 e sem glúten de frango, queijo e carne por R$ 10,00.
Para finalizar, nada melhor que uma sobremesa, por isso temos também um Festival de Doces e Brigadeiros, com brownie, bolo, macarron, cookie, waffle, maçã do amor, doces cristalizados, palha italiana, e claro, muito brigadeiro.
