Maior evento de jogos independentes da América Latina traz palestras, workshops e muitos jogos para o meio da Av. Paulista
Falta pouco mais de uma semana para o BIG Festival 2019, a sétima edição do maior evento de games independentes da América Latina, vir com uma programação repleta de opções para todos os públicos.
Com um catálogo de 75 jogos (sendo 54 em competição e 21 na Mostra Panorama Brasil), o BIG deste ano está de casa nova no coração da Avenida Paulista. O evento acontece entre os dias 26 e 30 de junho, com entrada gratuita.
Dentre as atrações estão palestras sobre diversas vertentes do mercado de games – do desenvolvimento de jogos aos eSports, além de mercado, dicas para estudar desenvolvimento de jogos e muito mais.
E para quem quer simplesmente jogar, bem… não há melhor lugar que o BIG, onde os melhores jogos independentes da atualidade estão ao alcance de todos. São dezenas de games nacionais e estrangeiros para o visitante jogar, conhecer e se divertir.

É de graça e fácil de chegar
O BIG Festival deste ano acontece na Avenida Paulista, 735, bem pertinho das estações Trianon-Masp e Brigadeiro do metrô. Além de ter entrada gratuita, o evento oferece um cronograma de atividades para toda família.
Games para todos os gostos
São 54 jogos, que fazem parte dos finalistas da premiação do BIG Festival, à disposição do público. Destes, 20 são títulos desenvolvidos por equipes e estúdios brasileiros. No espaço Panorama Brasil, há ainda uma outra seleção de 21 games brasileiros que, embora não tenham sido selecionados para a premiação principal, se destacaram pela qualidade. É possível, inclusive, ver e conhecer a equipe que desenvolveu os jogos. No site do BIG Festival é possível conhecer todos os finalistas da edição deste ano e já planejar qual experimentar primeiro.
Programação de palestras
Para quem quer saber mais sobre a indústria de games, as palestras e workshops do BIG Festival são indispensáveis. Profissionais renomados vão discutir diversos temas relacionados à criação de jogos, e o visitante poderá ver como os desenvolvedores criam personagens, como escolher um curso de jogos digitais ou até mesmo conhecer um dos nomes responsáveis pela criação de “Spider Man”, de Playstation 4. Conteúdo dedicado aos eSports
Com uma expectativa de movimentar US$ 456 milhões em 2019, segundo pesquisa da Newzoo, o mercado de eSports não para de crescer e de gerar empregos e oportunidades. O BIG também é lugar de saber mais sobre este segmento, em palestras que falarão mais do investimento de eSports no Brasil, como é ser um pro player ou ainda conhecer o ecossistema de eSports sob o ponto de vista de experts da indústria.
Momento cosplay
Em parceria com a escola Live Arena, acontece a primeira edição do Concurso Cultural de Cosplay Live Arena no BIG Festival. Os cinco cosplayers que mais receberem likes em suas selfies no Instagram durante o BIG Festival 2019 ganharão uma bolsa do curso EAD Cosplayer e Cosmaker da Live Arena.
Game Jam do Facebook
Já imaginou desenvolver um jogo por 30 horas ininterruptas? O Facebook Game Jam é uma competição onde 10 equipes serão selecionadas pelo BIG Festival e Facebook para criar um jogo do zero. Os jogos desenvolvidos serão apresentados ao júri do Facebook e ao público às 16h do domingo (30). E tudo aberto ao público.
