Estreou neste sábado (12), em São Paulo, a turnê “Funky Funky Boom Boom“, do novo álbum do Jota Quest.

A banda aqueceu o público que compareceu em peso ao Citibank Hall, numa noite chuvosa na capital paulista. O vocalista Rogério Flausino esbanjou simpatia e interagiu o tempo todo com a plateia.

No palco um grande “J” ao fundo e iluminação que mesclava as cores em cada música, dando a sensação de um baile dos anos 70 e 80.

Além dos integrantes Marco Túlio (Guitarra), PJ (Baixista), Paulinho Fonseca (Bateria), Márcio Buzelin (Teclado), e o vocalista Rogério Flausino, destaque para o trio de backing vocals Play, T-Bless e Dri Moreira e do DJ norte-americano Babey Drew, que já trabalhou em turnês de Chris Brow e Lauren Hill.

O set list começou com o single “Mandou bem“, primeira música de trabalho deste sétimo álbum. Em seguida antigos sucessos da carreira empolgaram o público, como “Na Moral“, “Já foi“, “Encontrar alguém“, “Mais uma vez“, “Do seu lado“, “De volta ao planeta“, “Sempre assim” “Só Hoje“, misturadas com as novas canções, “É de coração“, “Jota Quest convidou“, “Dentro de um abraço” e “Waiting for you” em suas duas versões, lenta e agitada.
