A Unhide Conference, maior evento de Arte Digital da América Latina, confirmou a participação de Jama Jurabaev, concept artist e ilustrador da Lucasfilm e que trabalhou na Direção de Arte da mais nova live-action da Disney, Aladdin. Ele vem ao evento, que acontece de 27 a 29 de setembro em São Paulo, falar sobre sua trajetória e carreira que inclui ainda contribuições para vários sucessos de bilheteria, como Vingadores: Era de Ultron, X-Men: Dias de um Futuro Esquecido, Guardiões da Galáxia, Kong: A Ilha da Caveira e Jogador Nº 1.
Nascido em Tajiquistão, na Ásia Central, Jama vive e trabalha em Londres. Ele se formou em Engenharia Aeroespacial, mas aos vinte e poucos anos foi atrás do sonho de se tornar um artista conceitual. Contratado da Lucasfilm, recentemente trabalhou também para The Mandalorian, série live-action de Star Wars, que será lançado em novembro no novo serviço de streaming Disney+.
A Unhide Conference vai reunir profissionais e palestrantes dos maiores estúdios e empresas de entretenimento do planeta em segmentos como games, cinema, publicidade, arquitetura 3D, design e produção musical. O evento acontece no Palácio de Convenções Anhembi, e espera receber cerca de 7500 pessoas para as mais de 100 horas de conteúdo distribuídas entre palestras, 12 workshops, painéis de discussão, feira com atividades paralelas e 3 grandes festas.
Além de Jama, já estão confirmados Erik Johansson, um dos mais influentes nomes de fotografia e manipulação do mundo, Fellipe Beckman, brasileiro que trabalhou na parte visual de Detetive Pikachu, Marti Romances, artista de 3D de Vingadores: Ultimato, e Beeple, um dos desenvolvedores visuais do longa de animação Homem-Aranha no Aranhaverso, vencedor do Oscar 2019.
