Lançado pela gravadora Polygram (Universal Music) em outubro de 1996, “Dig-Dig-Joy” é o sexto álbum de estúdio da dupla Sandy & Junior. Com uma sonoridade pop e vendagem de 700 mil cópias, o CD traz hits como a romântica “Não Ter” (Non C’è) de Laura Pausini e a dançante “Dig-Dig-Joy”.

Muita gente se pergunta o que significa “Dig-Dig-Joy”? Como já diz a música, o tema é uma nova maneira bem legal de brincar. No jogo: junte amigos e família, o primeiro tem que fazer um gesto para o segundo imitar e o lance é se ligar no que o do lado fizer sem errar.

No clipe, Sandy e Junior vem no estilo de ídolos teens com direito à coreografia e quatro dançarinos. Além do álbum a música composta por José Henrique Azevedo Lopes Da Costa e Sergio Carrer fez parte do repertório da turnê “Eu Acho Que Pirei” e da trilha sonora do filme “O Noviço Rebelde” com Renato Aragão.

No ano de 2016, o programa “Altas Horas” contou com visitas ilustres de Sandy e a dupla sertaneja Marcos e Belutti. Na exibição, Sandy convida Belutti para realizar um feat. na música “Me Espera” para representar Tiago Iorc.

O cantor sertanejo comenta: “Vou fazer o Junior! Vamos dançar Dig-Dig-Joy?“. Logo em seguida, Sandy entra na brincadeira e os dois dançam o hit dos irmãos e ainda dá uma palhinha de “Beijo é Bom” levando a plateia ao delírio.
