Festival de Fado com Carminho e António Zambujo acontece em São Paulo
Além das apresentações, evento conta com mostra de filmes e palestra sobre o gênero
Comemorando nove anos de estrada ao redor do mundo, desde a primeira aparição em Madrid, o Festival de Fado retorna ao Brasil e fará dois emocionantes shows em junho, no Teatro Opus, para apresentar “O Fado e Outras Músicas”, com a presença de dois jovens expoentes da música portuguesa: Carminho e António Zambujo.
António Zambujo, vencedor de prêmios como Melhor Intérprete Masculino de Fado pela Fundação Amália Rodrigues, tem uma carreira de sucesso enorme na música portuguesa e se apresenta no festival em 10 de junho.
Considerada a voz do fado e uma das artistas portuguesas com maior projeção internacional, Carminho traz ao festival seu novo álbum “Maria”, um trabalho profundo e de grandes emoções, que poderá ser conferido no dia 11 de junho.

Maior mostra desse tipo a nível internacional, o Festival de Fado tem como objetivo exibir a permanente interação do fado com outros gêneros poético-musicais mundiais, ao levar o público para uma viagem mágica de dois séculos de permanências e mudanças, feito de partilhas, trocas, cruzamentos e fascínios mútuos do fado com outros ritmos musicais.
A globalização do fado é um grande acontecimento cultural no Brasil, e se iniciou no ano de 2013, com uma bem-sucedida primeira edição do Festival nas cidades do Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo. O evento regressa em 2019 com novos artistas, uma palestra sobre o tema, uma masterclass de guitarra portuguesa, além de exibição de filmes e uma exposição com o selo de qualidade do Museu de Fado de Lisboa. O Festival do Fado, que nasceu em 2011 em Madrid e, esse ano, ainda faz escalas em 12 metrópoles da Europa, África e da América Latina.
