Rodrigo Lombardi, Maria Luisa Mendonça, Roberto Birindelli, Caco Ciocler e Luís Melo estão no elenco principal do filme que homenageia o cinema de Carlos Reichenbach
O Olho e a Faca, terceiro longa-metragem de Paulo Sacramento, conta a história de Roberto (Rodrigo Lombardi), um petroleiro que se encontra num momento de grande transformação em sua vida pessoal e profissional. Roberto é pai de dois filhos, mantém um romance fora do casamento e está constantemente entre o mar e a terra. Uma promoção no trabalho o leva à reflexão de sua existência.
O longa tem produção da Gullane, Olhos de Cão e TC Filmes, e distribuição da Califórnia Filmes. Também estão no elenco do filme os atores Roberto Audio, Estér Góes, Genézio de Barros, Maria Luisa Mendonça, Débora Nascimento, Simone Iliescu e as crianças Antonio Haddad e João Sabino. O Olho e a Faca foi exibido na Mostra Internacional de Cinema e no Festival do Rio, ambos em 2018. Além de filmar em São Paulo e Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Sacramento rodou mais da metade do longa em alto mar, em uma plataforma de petróleo.
Roberto trabalha há anos em uma plataforma de petróleo, onde criou fortes vínculos de amizade. Uma inesperada promoção, no entanto, abala a estabilidade de suas relações profissionais em um momento em que vive também uma grave crise familiar.
