Quadrinista Fefê Torquato mostra a força das mulheres na CCXP19
A participação feminina estará em evidência no Artists’ Alley da CCXP19. Além do crescimento real na presença das mulheres – de 32%, em 2018, para 38% este ano –, o respeito a elas no mercado de trabalho é o tema do mais recente lançamento da catarinense Fefê Torquato. A artista estará presente durante todos os dias do festival, incluindo a Spoiler Night, no espaço onde quadrinistas e ilustradores de diferentes vertentes apresentam seus trabalhos e interagem com o público. A CCXP19 acontece entre 5 e 8 de dezembro, no São Paulo Expo.
Formada pela escola de Belas Artes do Paraná, Fefê é quadrinista desde 2014. Entre seus trabalhos estão “Gata Garota -Vol. 1” (Ed. Nemo, 2015), “Estranhos” e o livreto de terror “A” (independente, 2016). Depois de dois anos dedicando-se exclusivamente à ilustração e à aquarela, ela retorna aos quadrinhos com “Tina – Respeito” (2019), projeto da Graphic MSP, que traz histórias de personagens clássicos de Mauricio de Sousa sob a ótica de novos e consagrados artistas brasileiros. Na obra, Fefê apresenta um dos temas mais urgentes da atualidade: assédio no trabalho.
Em sua 6ª edição, o festival já confirmou quadrinistas brasileiros consagrados como Mike Deodato Jr., Laerte, Germana Viana, Rebeca Prado, Ju Loyola, André Dahmer, Robson Rocha, Jun Sugiyama e Alexandre Carvalho. Entre os nomes internacionais estão Neal Adams, Joëlle Jones, Frank Quitely, Eduardo Risso e Charlie Adlard, entre outros.
