Recentemente, foi revelado que “Um Maluco no Pedaço” pode ganhar uma versão com protagonista feminina. A empresa que possui os direitos, registrou no dia 21 de fevereiro o nome “Fresh Princess”. A patente prevê o licenciamento de gravações de vídeos, programas de TV, música, entre outros produtos relacionados. Até o momento, nenhuma informação oficial foi divulgada.
A série “Um Maluco no Pedaço” foi exibida entre os anos de 1990 e 1996. Estrelada por Will Smith, a produção contou com 148 episódios e acompanhava um jovem que se mudou para morar com os tios ricos após arrumar briga com gente perigosa do bairro onde morava com sua mãe.
